Ken Greene is a first year student at Kirkwood Community College studying Human Services.  Ken is also a Peer Support Specialist for the Abbe Center in Iowa City.  He works with clients to help them become the best vesrion of themselves.  He uses his personal experience with substance use disorder and mental health challenges to help others.

I'm originally from Chicago. My hobbies include sports, traveling, drawing, exploring different cultures, listening to music, spending time with my family/kids, and spending time outdoors. One unique aspect of my life is my passion for art, which I use as a therapeutic outlet and a way to express my creativity. I am currently enrolled in my third year of college. I am a student at the University of Arizona. I am studying psychology because I am passionate about understanding human behavior and empowering others with this knowledge. After completing my degree, I plan to obtain a master's degree in mental health counseling to further specialize in providing support and guidance to those in need. My autobiography, "Resilience: The Journey of The Chosen One," is available on Amazon Kindle and other platforms.
